Patterdale Church of England Primary School
Patterdale School is a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School catering for children from three to eleven years of age.
The School has been in existence since 1873 but the buildings were modernized in 1970, 2003 and 2008. The School comprises two large classrooms (Nursery/EYFS / Key Stage 1 Class, a Key Stage 2 Class), a hall (for sport, music and performances), library, offices and cloakroom area with disabled access and a fully operational school kitchen. The School also has the use of a computer suite and teaching area -
The School is beautifully situated in the Lake District National Park at the head of the Ullswater Valley. It has extensive grounds to grass and tarmac for recreation and sport. There is a wooded area with broad leafed trees and a natural wild area containing grasses and wild flowers encouraging the habitat of natural wildlife. There is also a Gazebo, Adventure Play Area and Pond.

Legislation requires that, with effect from 1st January 2021, maintained schools must publish the number of employees earning in excess of £100K per annum. There are no staff that fall within this category.
Legislation that came into force with effect from 1st January 2021 also requires that all maintained schools provide a link to their CFR benchmarking data.
